Data and collection methods

We receive your name, company, telephone number, email, subject and message through forms or direct email. Quotations also request service, project type, city, facility details and contact preference. Newsletter records contain your email address and registration information. Form infrastructure may record technical security information such as submission time, IP address and browser details. Processing is electronic and automated, or non-automated as part of a data recording system.

Purposes and legal grounds

  • Survey, quotation and service requests: Data directly necessary to establish or perform a contract is considered under Article 5(2)(c).
  • General enquiries and follow-up: Responding to requests relies on legitimate interests under Article 5(2)(f), provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
  • Security and legal records: Necessary security processing relies on Article 5(2)(f); legal obligations on Article 5(2)(ç); establishment, exercise or protection of a right on Article 5(2)(e).
  • Newsletter registration: Your email is processed on the basis of explicit consent through a separate checkbox. Registration is optional and consent can be withdrawn.

Reading this notice or visiting the website is not, by itself, explicit consent. Making an enquiry or requesting a quotation does not depend on newsletter registration.

Disclosure and retention

Where necessary to handle your request or operate the website, data may be disclosed to website/hosting, email and technical support providers, and to competent public authorities or courts where legally required. Disclosures are subject to Article 8. Services requiring international transfers need separate assessment of the appropriate mechanism under Article 9. Data is retained for the period needed for its purpose and legal obligations; when processing grounds no longer apply it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Opening a YouTube example video may transmit technical data from your browser to Google/YouTube. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for this third-party service.

Your rights and requests

Under Article 11, you may learn whether your data is processed, its purpose, whether use is consistent with that purpose and the recipients. You may request information, correction, deletion or destruction where conditions apply, and notification of these actions to recipients. You may object to an adverse result produced solely by automated analysis and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You may submit a request to info@veranet.net from an email address previously provided to us and held in our records. Contact us through the same channel for other valid application methods and the delivery address for written applications. State your request and contact information; we will advise if identity verification is needed. Requests are resolved as soon as possible and within 30 days. They are generally free; charges prescribed by the applicable rules may apply where additional costs arise.
